The Greater Park Hill Community Inc. has an office at 28th and Fairfax in Denver that offers a Free Farm Stand on Mondays from 10am-1pm. Stop by and pick up some free produce donated from the community including local farmers, farmers markets, and neighbors!

If you have extra produce growing in your garden, bring it by the Free Farm Stand on Mondays or stop by the office during their business hours on Mondays & Wednesdays from 9am-3pm (closed on holidays)

The Greater Park Hill Community Food Pantry can also accept food donations during their office hours on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am to 12:30 pm.

You can drop off donations at 2823 Fairfax St on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am to 12:30 pm or bring non-perishables to the Park Hill Library or Cake Crumbs during their business hours. In addition to fresh produce, here are some other items they need regularly:

Food Pantry Needs:

  • Dry cereal and oatmeal
  • Bags of white rice
  • Hearty canned soups and stews
  • Canned ravioli and Spaghetti’Os
  • Boxed rice and pasta packaged meals
  • Pasta sauce
  • Canned tomato sauce
  • Tomato paste
  • Canned vegetables
  • Salt and pepper
  • Canned fruit (pineapple and peaches)
  • Canned fish and meats (tuna, salmon, sardines, Spam, chicken)
  • Size 3, 4, 5 and 6 diapers
  • Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels and Kleenex)
  • Toiletries (shampoo, soap/body wash, deodarent, conditioner, shaving cream, toothpaste)
  • Combs and brushes
  • Reusable shopping bags
