San Francisco, Bangladesh, Ireland, Italy, China and Taiwan (among others) have already banned or are taking steps to significantly reduce the use of plastic bags in grocery stores. The advocacy group Better Bags Colorado has requested that Denver considers passing similar legislation.<\/p>\n<p>Should Denver retailers charge for or ban plastic grocery sacks?<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.knowledgemessenger.com\/prod\/TakePoll.asp?App=marciajohnson&#038;iPollId=158\" target=\"blank\">Click Here to Voice your Opinion<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>So what do you carry your groceries with?<\/b><br \/>\nReusable canvas or cloth bags, or you can reuse the plastic bags that you already have. Grocery stores now have recycling bins that you can throw away your torn or unusable plastics (such as case wrap and grocery bags).
